Education in Cambodia is free and available to all , but there are many barriers that prevent children from attending school. There are basic costs involved such as uniforms, books, transportation and other materials. Many parents can't afford these things and therefore their children can't go to school. The children don't receive the skills necessary to help them in the future. By removing the simple barriers of education we can help free a generation of students form poverty.

Canadian international Development Agency needs to help Cambodia in providing subsidies to families to help with the costs of school. They can also help by building more schools so more children can get a good solid education. Education is very important for children in Cambodia because without knowing basic literacy and numeric skills it will be very difficult for them to find a job.
